Sword Frogs and Baldrics

I can create sword hangers known as 'frogs' for a rapier or other fencing type weapon. I will make a baldric to suit the taste of any one looking to hang their sword at their side, but I can also make a hanger designed to carry the weapon on your back! Your tastes and needs may also be met by a custom made item for your sword not pictured here. If that is so then just send me an outline of what you want, along with dimensions I need below. The back hanger is basically a strap, 1.5", over your shoulder with a buckle in the middle. Either two rings at the ends, a ring at the top and and a ring at the bottom, or a tip made of leather to carry the point of the sword on the bottom. It is $35, plain with no leather tip, $50 with the tip, or $20 more for a 3" strap.

There are several ways to carry a sword. The style of history was varied and involved. The French would wear their swords as "jewelry" so it had to be come more fancy and easier to carry. Thus the Rapiers, and their ilk became popular. to carry these you needed less support, and thus it could become more fancy. Out of this the carrier on the right became known as the "frog" as a derogatory slang for the French. You can use a sword Frog, for a rapier or other fencing type swords. With four buckles it is $35, or $45 with a belt. Or there is the multi period, ever popular, Baldric, this one can carry any type of sword and is greatly more adjustable than any type of carrier, but it will require an additional sheath if the sword is larger than a fencing type weapon. It is $55 with 4 buckles
